Why I Switched to Google Voice as My Main Number

I used to constantly switch phone numbers — different SIMs, different carriers, traveling, you name it. I got tired of telling people, “Hey, new number again.” That’s when I gave Google Voice a try, and honestly, it’s been a game changer.

Now I’ve got one number that sticks with me no matter where I am or what device I’m using. It works on my phone, laptop, tablet — all I need is internet. Calls and texts in the U.S. are totally free, voicemail gets turned into text (which is way easier to check), and I don’t have to worry about losing contacts or messages if I change phones.

If you're outside the U.S., setup can be a little tricky — especially with stuff like VPNs or verification. But I didn’t even have to deal with all that. I got my number ready-to-use from a site that sells verified Google Voice numbers — no headaches, just log in and go.

If you want to skip the hard part and just get your own working number, check this out. That’s where I got mine — and I’ve been using it ever since.
